Post Modernism In our Music Video

Post modernism is present in our music video, as the idea for the filming of our music video, was established from the independent film 'Black Swan', we are then taking the ideas of design and also the element of the ballet dancing and combining them with a mainstream artist and music video such as Pixie Lott's Broken arrow. In our music video this is similar to the idea of post modernism as we are combining the elements of the Black Swan with our artist that we have created who is going to be very mainstream and watched by mass audiences. 

Furthermore the film the black swan is a intertexual reference to the story the 'Ugly Duckling' therefore this is also hinted at on our music video as the girl is unappreciated by her parents who tend to ignore her alike they do in the ugly duckling.
